BasicNet Group and Movement Entertainment announce the renewal of the Kappa FuturFestival sponsorship for 2014 and 2015
1 Aprile, 2014
Marco Boglione, president of BasicNet Group, owner – among others – of the Kappa brand: “KFF immediately stood out as an innovative, intelligent entertainment format: futuristic, sporty and digital, values characteristic of the Kappa brand’s positioning. We are happy to renew our involvement, fully convinced that establishing KFF as one of the best festivals in Europe represents both an effective investment for our group as well as an excellent initiative for the area’s economic development”
After last year’s extraordinary success (25.000 spectators) the third edition of Kappa FuturFestival – Torino Summer Music Festival, the 100% daytime, urban, summer dance music festival, has been confirmed. Dates when the best Italian and international electronic music (the line-up will be released in the next few weeks) will make Torino’s Parco Dora the place to be for young people from all over Europe have just been named as the 5th and 6th July 2014.
Kappa FuturFestival will take place in the open air, over two very intense days, from midday to midnight, all dedicated to electronic sounds, in a setting reminiscent of Torino’s industrial past and projected towards a boundless future.
For those who want to make sure they get a first row seat at Kappa FuturFestival 2014 “early birds” advance sales start on January 18 on ticketone.it, ticket.it and electronic-community.com.
Kappa FuturFestival is a great example of cultural enterprise, promoting employment, the local territory and tourism. The second edition’s economic fall back has been estimated to be in the region of one million euro, the consequence of employing 400 human resources, 500 overnight stays promoted in selected facilities and thousands of meals consumed by the 25.000 youths arrived in Torino from all over Europe. This success was also made possible thanks to the confidence shown by the local council and the regional administration, the support of ten big industrial groups – six of which located in Torino – and media partnerships struck with the country’s most qualified media publishers.
Kappa FuturFestival also is an extraordinary chance to stimulate local economy with zero impact “0-11″ on public expenditure. The location, the artistic offer, the quality of service and environmental sustainability are the foundations on which Kappa FuturFestival is basing its ambition of becoming one of the main festivals in the context of summer Intelligent Entertainment for young people on the international scene.
Intelligent Entertainment is the mission of every Movement production: a huge organisational effort to ensure the best conditions so that the public may be entertained while maintaining full respect for itself, others and the environment.
Kappa FuturFestival takes place in the heart of Parco Dora: considered the most important post-industrial, green renovation project in Italy, it covers an area of 89.000 square meters right next to Torino’s city centre. The space is dominated by the evocative and awe-inspiring structure of the Stripping hangar, highlighting the Festival’s urban and contemporary soul.
In the 2014 edition the Movement Hospitality System, an integrated guest reception system working through a package modulated on every budget level, in use in selected hotels, has been further perfected. The attention to sustainable mobility has also grown thanks to a number of public and private mobility partners. Finally the ticket office is conceived to be friendly and accessible thanks to the use of digital channels and modern smartphone and tablet applications.
