7 Aprile, 2017
As summer festival season looms, Kappa Futur in Turin has become even more tempting, with another round of big names announced to complete the line-up on Saturday, July 8 and Sunday, July 9.
The latest wave of names to be announced include some of the world’s most renowned house DJs, to balance out the banging techno elsewhere on the bill.
The Burn Stage is curated by Masters of Work, who’ll be playing on Saturday, along with fellow American house legends Boo Williams and Glenn Underground. On Sunday, the Burn Stage will be given over to New York’s legendary party Body & Soul and its main men Francois Kevorkian, Danny Krivit and Joe Claussell, who’ve always operated an open-door policy with their eclectic take on a house set.
Elsewhere, the main Jägermeister Stage will feature Carl Cox and Fatboy Slim on Saturday and Paul Kalkbrenner and Sven Väth on Sunday, while the tree-lined Dora Stage, will see The Black Madonna headline with Jackmaster, Kolsch and Seth Troxler b2b The Martinez Brothers on Saturday, plus a live set from Ame and associates Dixon and Mano Le Tough on Sunday.
Already announced are Jamie Jones, Nina Kraviz, Tale of Us, Joseph Capriati, Sasha & John Digweed and many more – all playing at Parco Dora — a vast industrial space that’s been turned by the council from a Fiat plant into a futuristic park with trees and greenery among the rusting girders.
