All roads lead to Italy this July for the ninth (and longest-ever) edition of Kappa FuturFestival. Returning to its stomping ground of Parco Dora – a former industrial complex turned park in central Turin – the festival is putting on a tantalising spread of house and techno across three days. Much of the programme is devoted to hefty basslines and cathartic kick drums, with Amelia Lens, Carl Cox, Joseph Capriati and Peggy Gou all guaranteed to deliver on the brief. Elsewhere, Four Tet will bring a life-affirming dose of eclecticism to proceedings, while minimal maestro Ricardo Villalobos is sure to take festival-goers in even stranger directions.
