Since his first album in 2015, Kevin De Vries has embarked on a vertiginous rise, creating space for hybrid techno. When a track plays in the room, time seems to stand still, suspended in the air before precipitating with an unambiguous drama. His music pushes sound systems to their limits, simultaneously drawing on the power of techno and the euphoria of trance in a unique way. His tracks and remixes have found a home on some of the most respected labels: Sven Väth's Cocoon, Adam Beyer's Drumcode and, more recently, the Tale Of Us label Afterlife. De Vries became a DJ on the Afterlife roster with many appearances at events and musical contributions to the label. Kevin's DJ sets translate the singular energy of his music into extended trips, moving from avant-garde sounds to classics from the 90s. He quickly became a highly sought after DJ worldwide, delivering exceptional performances for large festivals and intimate clubs, as well as pushing his limits with back-to-back sets.
