Seth Troxler moved to Detroit at the age of 15 and very soon began to make himself known on the city's electronic and techno scene, where he collaborated with the Berettamusic label to organize important parties. He knows Richie Hawtin, Magda, John Acquaviva, Derrick Carte and Danny Tenaglia, all names that help him to shape his eclectic style, made up of sounds ranging from jazz and rare grooves to minimal funk and Detroit TechnoHe plays in the most important clubs in Detroit (Carbon, The Works, Forans'...) and works in a well-known vinyl store. He then began to produce music and released his first works on Berettamusic Grey. After moving to Berlin, he released singles on Esperanza, Leftroom and Spectral SoundSeth Troxler belongs to the third wave of DJs from Detroit, his unique style has made him famous all over the world. He has fun, Seth Troxler: “My main inspirations are the sound of spaceships and the actor Robert Downey Jr. especially when he was in his cursed period.” Travel, Seth Troxler: after a musically fairy adolescence in Detroit, in direct contact with great techno masters such as Hawtin and Acquaviva, he has now moved to Berlin. Founder and A&R manager of Life and Death, Manfredi Romano grew up as a tour manager for punk bands and organized musical events in Italy. After completing his studies in computer science at the University of Pisa, Manfredi founded DAZE, the first booking agency in Italy entirely dedicated to electronic music. Leveraging two decades of behind the scenes experience, Manfredi changed focus in 2010, establishing himself as a DJ. As a performer, under the alias DJ Tennis, he courageously shows a remarkable ability to create intimacy even in the largest crowds. As an esteemed producer, Manfredi constantly channels his past relationships with post-rock luminaries like Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Tortoise and Fugazi in intricate synthesized electronic constellations. A refined chef and restaurant owner, DJ Tennis divides his time between Miami and Amsterdam, where he loves to ride motorcycles, collect vintage action figures and expand his vinyl collection, which now has more than eleven thousand records.
