This summer, Kappa FuturFestival will once again welcome tens of thousands of electronic music enthusiasts from all over the world. For the occasion, Kappa has produced a special collection to celebrate the event that for over ten years has brought people together in the name of love for music. The collection focuses on Kappa's Omini, who for the occasion are still wearing headphones and feature graphics reminiscent of FuturFestival icons.
The collection focuses on the Kappa® Men, who are wearing headphones again for the occasion, and includes various items such as oversized t-shirts and tight tops, but also accessories such as a waist bag, a key lanyard, hats and shoulder bags. To complete the look, Briko® glasses in collaboration with Kappa FuturFestival. The garments are characterized by vivid and intense colors, with prints depicting the icons of the Future including the main stage and the post-industrial style columns of Parco Dora. The capsule collection can be purchased in selected Robe di Kappa stores, selected multibrands and on the kappa.com website.
The campaign dedicated to the capsule was curated and immortalized by Nima Benati, one of the most important personalities in recent years in the field of fashion photography. In 2020, Forbes included it in the prestigious list of 30 Under 30, recognizing its significant impact on the fashion photography sector. For the collection, Benati created shots with explosive and engaging energy that fully reflect the urban atmosphere of the festival.
Speaking about the project, Nima Benati: “It's rare to find fashion shots in a context of sports merchandising, so I'm even more excited to have introduced a touch of fashion in an environment usually considered foreign to the sector. We focused on strong images, with a diverse cast and unisex clothing, challenging conventional norms.”
