Grammy-nominated Australian producer Dom Dolla is experiencing a dizzying rise. His distinctive house music style is conquering global audiences, making him one of the most exciting producers on the electronic scene.
Dom discovered house music thanks to his mother, who let him listen to the album Rooty by Basement Jaxx in 2001. During adolescence, he spent weekends organizing pub-disco and DJ sets at parties, while on weekdays he worked as a graphic designer. In 2015, encouraged to follow his passion, he quit his job to dedicate himself completely to music and production.
He became known with a series of critically acclaimed club hits, including Define, You, Be Randy, Take It, San Frandisco, Pump The Breaks, Moving Blind and Strangers ft. Mansionair. In 2022, he published Miracle Maker ft. Clementine Douglas, who was named 'Hottest Record In The World' by BBC Radio 1, marking her definitive international consecration. He then continued with a series of hits such as Rhyme Dust with MK, Eat Your Man with Nelly Furtado, Saving Up, girl$ and CAVE with Tove Lo, bringing his catalog to more than 1 billion streams.
His remix of New Gold by Gorillaz feat. Tame Impala & Bootie Brown earned him a Grammy nomination, while the track Eat Your Man won him an ARIA Award for Best Electronic Dance Release.
Dom's talent and dedication have been recognized by various musical institutions: he was named Best New Artist by Rolling Stone, Solo Artist of the Year by GQ, One To Watch by Billboard Dance and Artist Of The Year by Dancing Astronaut, as well as appearing on the cover of DJ Mag.
